Connections is a life skills and mentoring group for girls at risk of being exploited.
Connections meets Wednesdays from 3:30-5pm and is drop-in style, meaning girls do not have to attend every meeting and will be able to jump right back in if they miss a week. Girls may be referred to us by any agency or self refer based on interest.
Community Service hours for attendance are available for some agencies.
Each week there are snacks, fun activities, lessons, and group mentoring time. Volunteers are from the local community and have completed thorough background checks and mentoring training. Activities include:
